Dear Onwardexpansion???,
I was moved out of state my my parents too. I really understand. I mad it through, even though it was not very fun at first. True, you are leaving your friends, but when you move to a new state you get to start with a new slate. All your past is cleared and you can start new. All the past mistakes are gone and you know how to handle certain situations beteer now. Try to join clubs and activities to get to know people like you. I hope it goes well for you!!

FAKES!
Dear Advice Cafe,
I am an 8th grader in middle school. At my school it seems like in order to be heard you must be 1) pretty 2) popular 3) have tons of freinds 4) have a boyfriend. I feel pressured to dress a certain way, act a certain way, and be someone todally differnt so I can please this kids who don't even know me!! Not only that, but all the popular girls are only friends with eachother to be more popular. They always turn on eachother and gossip about one anouther. They are all Barbies. They all are Fake!!!
I want to be me, but I can't without being judged.

Answer:
Dear FakersofAmerica,
I know how you feel because I am in 10th grade and I've been through middle school. I wasn't very popular. People would use me if I won an award, or did something great. The would all the sudden be my best friend then they would slowly drift off to anouther person. I learned to be myself and never let them use me and control me. That's all they have. The only power they have is the power to control becasue tjey think they are better than everyone else. If you say no, you take away that power.
They can't control you, so don't let them!!
And don't ever be a fake.

Friends
Dear Advice Cafe, I just moved to Indiana. I have a great friend in Iowa, but I
had to leave her. I have been here for two years and no true friend has shown
up. I really want one, I feel so alone. Help
-Nofriends
Answer:
Dear No Friends,
I understand your situation. True friends don't just show up, they can take a long time. It took me almost the first 11 years of my life to find mine. You just have wait. Sometimes friends can come out of unexpected places. Maybe anouther person is going through the same thing you are. Join clubs and after school activities. I am sure, even though it might not come fast, you will find your friend.
